长期从事海洋化学和海洋环境科学的研究与教学工作,主要研究方向为海洋生物地球化学,侧重于河流、河口和近海营养元素和痕量元素的生物地球化学过程研究。先后主持或参加国家973项目、重点研发计划、国家重大科技专项、NSFC-山东省联合基金、国家自然科学基金等项目二十余项。已发表论文110余篇,其中SCI收录40余篇。
